Career and Technical Education is expanding to include EMS related programs in secondary schools.
At the conclusion of this period, the participant will be able to:
- Determine the feasibility of beginning a high school EMS program.
- Understand the pitfalls of working within a public school environment.
- Be able to modify educational techniques to engage a younger student body.
- Modify teaching techniques when instructional time is limited.
- Make modifications for students with Individual Education Plans.
- Plan for practical experiences in an environment hostile to young people.
